i-Nigma Barcode Reader and Barcode Creator

From 3GVision, a bar-code reader that is currently the best one available as Freeware in Windows mobile application. I've tried and it is by far the best that I've tried. You can even try and make your own barcode using their very own online barcode creator. You can visit this link. With the link provided, you can embed a URL redirecting to your site. It's quite useful if you have a personal website. Just put a QR code to your business card and when it is scanned using I-Nigma, they'll be redirected to you site - cool isn't it.

Just go to their website and download the latest version - click here. By the way, check-out the encoded message below that is made from i-nigma website as well. Use i-nigma app to reveal the message. By the way it works great with my Omnia 2.

SPB Streaming Radio Application

While browsing Microsoft's Marketplace for a streaming radio application, I found a 30-day Trial SPB Radio Application and was thrilled at its performance. I've also tried Resco's Radio Application and I can really say that SPB's streaming radio app is way much better with regards to its interface and ease-of-use.

The only downside for SPB Radio is that they don't have the streaming radios station from the Philippines that I really like. I was able to listen to the Philippine Sreaming Radio Stations while using Resco's app. With Resco's app, I can't find any setting or url for the radio stations that I like but with SPB, you can set each of the streaming radios in your list.

Here are SPB Radio's features:

Tomtom Navigator 8 for Omnia i8000?

Okay, I've seen a lot of Omnia i8000 users who used Tomtom Navigator 8 to work on their PDAs and most of them were having problems. I tried it with my Omnia i8000 and here is what I can say. First, Omnia i8000 is not on its compatible deivces -- only i900 was listed there so it could really take some modifications with your device.

Touch Shell

This is one hell of an application and it was installed properly and it worked with Omnia 2 as well. but it has some bugs (dunno if it is phone related). You can try and maybe it will work properly, I heard there are a few people who are really satisfied about this product. The only thing is, it is still on its Beta version but still it looks very promising. Goes well with Touch Themes (that's a different story).

The Bible Surfer Review

Okay, I have tried this wonderful application for PocketPC and it is working really great. It's currently working with my Omnia 2 and works with HTC HD2 too. You may download and install the required CAB files for .NET CF 3.5 and SQLCE 3.5

One of the must applications I must install in my smartphone.
