Android on my Omnia II - Wow!

Okay, after hours of trying to make it work. I followed what was instructed in the forum but I was unable to make it work but eventually it worked but I really have to look for other solutions I found on the internet. I combined all the solutions / instructions.

After installing Android and made it work, I used the Android's Market but I was unable to use it so I left it the way it is and tested how long will the battery last. I slept that evening with a smile on my face. When I woke up, I've leaned that my device run out of batter and was totally drained. Mind you, while I was installing Android, I have a 100% battery. I remembered I also left the wireless open so it could probably because of that.

Success in ROM Reformat of Omnia 2!

Amazing thing happened guys. I was able to flash my Omnia i8000's ROM. I used (I8000NXXJH1) JH1 ROM as my device's new ROM. My previous post about formatting went successful. After successfully flashing my device, I realized that if I can flash my device anytime I want to then there is no stopping for me from port to Android. I've seen a lot of great Android applications and there are a lot of free applications and games to name. I hope it will be a success.

Huff and Puff Review

Have you ever played the IPhone's Angry Birds? I've heard a few friends getting addicted into it. My only problem was I am using an Omnia 2 (i8000) which uses Windows Mobile 6.5 so I won't be able to tell how wonderful the game is. But a great thing happened - Huff and Puff came. The story is quite familiar, remember the three little pigs and the big bad wolf? You will be playing as the big bad wolf this time and not the hero.

Tomtom Navigator 8 for Omnia i8000?

Okay, I've seen a lot of Omnia i8000 users who used Tomtom Navigator 8 to work on their PDAs and most of them were having problems. I tried it with my Omnia i8000 and here is what I can say. First, Omnia i8000 is not on its compatible deivces -- only i900 was listed there so it could really take some modifications with your device.
