SPB Streaming Radio Application

While browsing Microsoft's Marketplace for a streaming radio application, I found a 30-day Trial SPB Radio Application and was thrilled at its performance. I've also tried Resco's Radio Application and I can really say that SPB's streaming radio app is way much better with regards to its interface and ease-of-use.

The only downside for SPB Radio is that they don't have the streaming radios station from the Philippines that I really like. I was able to listen to the Philippine Sreaming Radio Stations while using Resco's app. With Resco's app, I can't find any setting or url for the radio stations that I like but with SPB, you can set each of the streaming radios in your list.

Here are SPB Radio's features:

Camera's Working Again!

I got my Omnia 2's camera working once again and I am loving each and every moment once again. I never went into any cellphone technician nor the service centers, it just got fixed. I don't know how it happened but it is working. I was just on a waiting area with my wife on a hospital while my wife is having her check-up and just to check out how my camera was doing, I turned it on and it worked. After that, it was working like it normally used to be. I am guessing the drop fixed lol! coz I remembered my family were inside our church when I dropped it. The drop wasn't very hard, maybe it just dropped from around my waist to a carpeted floor like how my camera got broken.

Been busy lately and I've been trying out different applications ever since then. Funny thing is my camera inspired me to try out new applications. I'll post new application reviews sometime this week again. And I'll post a few free applications as well.

See ya all again.

No Luck on Repairs

Without luck, my phone wasn't repaired. I totally forgot that overwriting my ROM will automatically void me of warranty. Well, I am actually prepared for that I'll even pay since I know my device's warranty is long past its due. Now, only left for me to do is try asking some other service centers and hopefully they can fix my device and hopefully they won't totally ruin my phone.

My Omnia 2 Goes Back to the Hospital

I have decided to send my device to the nearest service center once again to solve the great mystery of my device's camera. It still keeps on popping that "Please Update Camera Firmware". And although the warranty is over I still want the camera to atleast function properly as it should be. Don't like the feeling of being left out once there is some great event or happening where it requires taking a snapshot. I can brag that the picture quality is greater than of Iphone or even HTC HD2. I know because I've compared my pictures to my friend's pictures and I should say they did quite good on its quality although the robustness of its camera sucks for me big time.

Omnia Android: Talking Tom Cat

After installing Android to my device the first application that I grabbed at the market was this talked about Talking Tom Cat application. You can find the application at Android Market's Entertainment category. It was really thrilling to hear that cat say whatever I say in a funny way. I showed it to my son and he was so amazed of it and played whenever he can. I remember having so much fun with it the first time I saw this application from my friend's IPhone but thanks to Android for making it available for everyone to enjoy.

Android on my Omnia II - Wow!

Okay, after hours of trying to make it work. I followed what was instructed in the forum but I was unable to make it work but eventually it worked but I really have to look for other solutions I found on the internet. I combined all the solutions / instructions.

After installing Android and made it work, I used the Android's Market but I was unable to use it so I left it the way it is and tested how long will the battery last. I slept that evening with a smile on my face. When I woke up, I've leaned that my device run out of batter and was totally drained. Mind you, while I was installing Android, I have a 100% battery. I remembered I also left the wireless open so it could probably because of that.

Success in ROM Reformat of Omnia 2!

Amazing thing happened guys. I was able to flash my Omnia i8000's ROM. I used (I8000NXXJH1) JH1 ROM as my device's new ROM. My previous post about formatting went successful. After successfully flashing my device, I realized that if I can flash my device anytime I want to then there is no stopping for me from port to Android. I've seen a lot of great Android applications and there are a lot of free applications and games to name. I hope it will be a success.

Huff and Puff Review

Have you ever played the IPhone's Angry Birds? I've heard a few friends getting addicted into it. My only problem was I am using an Omnia 2 (i8000) which uses Windows Mobile 6.5 so I won't be able to tell how wonderful the game is. But a great thing happened - Huff and Puff came. The story is quite familiar, remember the three little pigs and the big bad wolf? You will be playing as the big bad wolf this time and not the hero.
